After working for several years as a nurse, Nathalie embarked on a new career as a tour guide in the United States. After some great experiences on the other side of the Atlantic, she decided to return to France and settle in her beloved city of Lyon. ♥️
A lover of the city’s history and gastronomy, it seemed obvious to her that she should pursue her career by becoming a guide in Lyon.
Having completed a Masters in International Law and Human Rights, Jeremy has worked for a time in international politics: for the United Nations, the European Union and several NGOs around the world. 🇺🇳
Passionate about history and languages from an early age, he decided to retrain as a professional. 🌍 So he trained as a tourist guide in Narbonne, before joining Lyon Original Tours in 2022!
A Breton with a passion for wine, Emmanuelle studied hotel management and sommellerie. After travelling extensively and living in a number of different countries, she spent 4 years working on board cruise ships on the Rhône, discovering Lyon in the process.
She decided to move here 3 years ago, and broadened her knowledge of tourism and gastronomy before joining the LOT team in 2024 🥳
Bruno is one of those people who have had 36 different lives! However, with a degree in Economics in his pocket, nothing really predestined him for the guide profession… 🧐
But this adventurer, who was for a long time a backpacker traveler, soon found himself guiding groups of people in Asia and Africa. After many peregrinations, he has been working with Lyon Original Tours since November 2022! 🚲
After studying management, Luce developed a passion for art and history. She decided to deepen her knowledge in these fields, and then to pass on this passion by offering fun and interactive conferences. 🧑🏫
One thing led to another, she decided to take things a step further by moving into the guiding business. Today, she alternates between guided tours, lectures and teaching in higher education, and she loves being able to forge links between these three activities!
After starting out in the social sector and then branching out into music, Vincent decided to leave everything behind to travel the world. He spent almost 4 years working in different countries. 🧳
On his return, he turned to river tourism and then became a freelance guide in Lyon. Today, he alternates between sharing his passion for this incredible city with travellers from all over the world as part of the Lyon FOOD Tour team, and guitar solos for Lyon band Layoff! 😎 🎸
Originally from Mâcon in Burgundy, Shirine studied economics in Lyon. After completing her degree, she moved in the South to train in sustainable tourism, combining her skills, values and passions. 🚴♀️
Back in Lyon, she had a number of different jobs, notably in a trekking agency and in student associations. Then she decided to turn to guiding as a way of combining several of her passions: history, theatre, writing and Lyon!
Yannick is also one of those people who had a thousand different lives before becoming a guide! He has had a wide variety of professional experiences in sectors as diverse as video games, export, luxury food, as well as banking and insurance. 😮
But with his curious nature and wide-ranging interests (history, science, numismatics, etc…), he eventually turned to the guide profession. And his favourite part of the job is discovering and sharing what he calls ‘the little story behind the big story’. 🧐
Nicolas is passionate about history, geopolitics and foreign languages. After studying languages and linguistics, and working as a teacher in this field, he decided to become a guide thanks to his passion for history and meeting people. 📚
Today, Nicolas loves showing visitors around Lyon, revealing the little nooks and crannies and the most amazing anecdotes the city has to offer.
